About me

Hi, my name is Franco. I am an integrative therapist working online and face-to-face in London Bridge SE1.

I believe therapy is a brave step towards self-awareness, healing and change. I provide a safe, supportive and confidential environment where you can explore what has brought you to therapy and where you are in your life, offering space for reflection and personal growth.

My practice is integrative which means I draw from different psychotherapeutic approaches to inform my work and tailor the therapy to your needs. Some of the theories I draw from are psychodynamic, person-centred, existential, attachment theory, and trauma-informed practice.

My work is underpinned by the belief that human beings are fundamentally relational and that our wellbeing is greatly influenced by the quality of our connections with others. I work collaboratively, fostering a strong alliance where exploration, self-acceptance and growth are facilitated in ways that suit each client's individual needs.

While initial reasons for seeking therapy will vary from client to client, I believe that therapy can support you in expanding your self-knowledge and help identify any blocks that may be getting in the way of enjoying life in a more fulfilling way.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling (Level 7) from The Minster Centre.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I work in accordance with their Ethical Framework.

I work in an affirmative way with clients from diverse backgrounds, sexual orientations & gender identities. Alongside my private practice, I have been supporting clients in a specialised LGBTQ+ counselling service for a number of years.

I offer face-to-face and online sessions in English and Spanish.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
