About me

Finding your stability when life feels overwhelming requires a space that is both deeply nurturing and structured. Whether you are managing the daily impact of anxiety and low mood, processing trauma, navigating the unique exhaustion of neurodivergent masking, or coping with the weight of chronic health challenges, you do not have to carry the weight alone. Based in Oldbury, I offer a grounded, culturally-attuned space to help adults and young people (16+) across Sandwell, Birmingham, the West Midlands, and UK-wide find lasting stability.
Choosing a therapist can feel daunting, especially if you have felt misunderstood in the past. Because I have lived experience of sight loss and manage a chronic health condition myself, my practice is built on true understanding. In our sessions, you can completely skip the exhausting step of explaining the basics of disability or health barriers—I understand the daily realities, allowing us to focus entirely on your healing.
My Core Specialisms
I provide specialised, non-judgemental support across four multi-layered areas:
Complex Trauma (C-PTSD): Helping you safely process past or ongoing distress, establish firm boundaries, and develop deep self-compassion.
Neurodiversity: Offering an affirming, validating environment for autistic and ADHD individuals to navigate burnout and unmask safely.
Sight Loss & Disability: Working through the profound emotional impact, identity shifts, and structural barriers of navigating visual impairment and physical change.
Chronic Health: Supporting you through the psychological weight, uncertainty, and grief that accompanies long-term illness.
This practice is fully LGBTQIA+ friendly and dedicated to exploring identity, belonging, and complex life transitions at your own pace.
How We Work Together
Our work is collaborative and active, moving beyond just talking about problems to finding real clarity. I use a structured 5-pillar Integrative model that brings together Person-Centred warmth, Psychodynamic depth, CBT, Transactional Analysis, and Gestalt therapy.
We work safely with how your body holds distress by focusing on the Somatic Pathway. If you experience racing thoughts, internal conflict, or feel overwhelmed by different emotions, I guide you through a step-by-step unblending protocol. This gentle process helps you create safe distance from overwhelming feelings so you can understand what you truly need, informed by internal Family systems (IFS).
Whether you need short-term focus for stress or open-ended support for deep trauma, you will find an accredited, secure framework where you are completely seen. You are warmly invited to get in touch to arrange a free, no-pressure 25-minute discovery call to see if we are a good fit. ✨

Training, qualifications & experience

My background equips me to offer thoughtful, inclusive, and compassionate support to people from all backgrounds and experiences:

BACP Accredited Counsellor – demonstrates that I have attained a high professional standard in my counselling practice.
Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling – Newman University, Birmingham
– allows me to draw on a range of therapeutic models,  enabling me to adapt my approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
Level 4 Certificate in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment) – Birmingham City University
– enhances my ability to support clients living with disability, loss, or life-changing transitions.
NCFE Levels 2 and 3 in Counselling Skills – has built my strong foundation in active listening, empathy, and relationship-based work — the heart of effective counselling.

These qualifications, combined with my own lived experience, allow me to create a therapeutic space that is open, grounded, and responsive to  life’s complexities, creating space for clarity, reflection,  and growth.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
