About me
Hello, I’m Frances.
Does life feel heavy, unmanageable, or just out of reach?
Maybe you feel like you're moving through life with a constant sense of tension in your body - numb, disconnected, or always braced for something. You might be holding it all together outwardly, while inwardly feeling adrift, weighed down by self-doubt and longing for stillness, clarity, and genuine connection.
Wherever you are, there is space for you here.
How We Work Together
I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences, feel truly heard, and begin to reconnect with yourself. My approach is rooted in humanistic, person-centred therapy, which means I offer a safe space where your unique experiences, feelings, and perspective are at the heart of our work together.
I’m here to walk alongside you, offering warmth and empathy as you build self-trust and deepen your understanding of the challenges that brought you here.
I work with adults who feel disconnected from themselves or their lives. This may include:
- Traumatic experiences
- Emotional numbness
- Self-doubt
- Escapism
- Feelings of unfulfillment
- Searching for deeper meaning
My integrative approach blends a range of therapeutic methods to support your unique journey and help you move forward in a way that feels genuine and right for you.
I’m a BACP-registered, Leeds-based counsellor offering short and long-term in-person therapy in Leeds, as well as online counselling across the UK and internationally.
What to Expect
Our work together is about creating a safe, compassionate space where you can gently explore your experiences and find your way forward. You may find yourself gaining clarity, reconnecting with yourself, or discovering new ways to relate to your thoughts and emotions.
Whatever your journey looks like, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and understanding.
Next Steps
If this resonates with you - whether you’re feeling uncertain, curious, or ready to begin - I warmly invite you to get in touch.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
