About me
About me
Hello, I am Frances. Welcome. You may be here because you feel stuck, struggle to express your needs or are trying to make sense of recurring patterns in your life and relationships. You may be working through difficult experiences, feeling disconnected from yourself, or seeking personal growth and a deeper sense of meaning, purpose and connection.
I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, relationship challenges and low self-esteem. I offer short- and long-term counselling, online via Zoom and in person at my practice in Alfriston, East Sussex. I aim to provide a warm, supportive space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.
I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor trained in Transactional Analysis. I help you explore the patterns, beliefs and ways of relating that shape your life. Drawing on many years of experience in therapeutic voicework and personal development, I bring warmth, compassion and honest conversation to our work together. I gently encourage you to consider familiar patterns from different perspectives, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and explore new ways of moving forward.
Taking the first step
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call where you can ask questions, find out more about how I work and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you. There is no pressure to commit, just an opportunity to talk and explore your options.
