About me
Sometimes, we find ourselves struggling with things we can’t quite explain, feeling overwhelmed by our thoughts and emotions, or repeating patterns we wish we could change. We might experience anxiety, difficulties in our relationships, exhaustion, low self-esteem, hopelessness, or a sense that something is holding us back from living in the way we would like.
If you’re looking for support, you don’t need to have everything figured out on your own. In our initial sessions, we’ll take the time to understand what you’re experiencing and explore the different factors that may be contributing to how you’re feeling. From there, we can identify what you’d like to be different and what you need to move forward.
I am a qualified Gestalt Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a background in Art Therapy. I have experience working in private practice and charitable organisations, supporting people from diverse backgrounds who may be navigating a range of challenges, including neurodivergence, cultural issues, racism, women's issues, PMDD/PMS, trauma, and intergenerational trauma, among other areas of life and wellbeing.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. Together, we might look at your relationships, sense of self, and patterns that have developed over time. I pay attention not only to what you say, but also to what happens in your body. Sometimes our bodies respond before we have words for what we’re experiencing. By slowing down and becoming more aware of these responses, we can begin to understand ourselves differently and find new possibilities for how we respond.
Depending on what feels useful to you, our work may also include dreams, imagination and creative expression as ways of exploring experiences that can be difficult to reach through conversation alone.
I don’t assume there is one right way to understand what you’re experiencing. You are the expert in your own life, and I see therapy as something we discover together. My role is to listen carefully, ask questions, notice patterns and offer a different perspective, while staying curious about what feels meaningful and right for you.
My practice is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, neurodivergent-aware and queer-affirmative. This means I work with care for each person’s history and with respect for their identity and lived experience. I recognise that our sense of self and wellbeing are shaped not only by our individual histories, but also by culture, relationships, social inequalities, discrimination, and wider structures of power.
I am attentive to how these experiences may influence the therapeutic relationship and aim to create a respectful, inclusive space that is sensitive to each person’s individual context.
If my approach resonates with you, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I’d be happy to talk it through with you and discuss how I may be able to help.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I believe that therapy should be accessible regardless of social or financial circumstances. To support this, I offer a limited number of low-cost spaces. If these are currently full, I can add you to a waiting list or help you explore alternative services. Feel free to get in touch, and we can look at this together.
