About me
Hi, I’m Fiona, a qualified integrative counsellor and Supervisor, working with individuals and couples, offering a warm, safe, and confidential space to explore life’s challenges. I have extensive experience supporting people with depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement, eating disorders, OCD, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts, as well as relational difficulties, personal growth, and spiritual development.
I take a holistic approach, seeing each person or relationship as a whole. Together, we can explore patterns, build self-awareness, and create space for healing, insight, and meaningful change. My work is relational and intuitive, blending emotional, mental, and spiritual understanding to support your journey toward balance and connection.
I have a special interest in supporting individuals and couples preparing for parenthood, helping them explore and heal past wounds before creating their own families. I also work with new and growing families, navigating challenges such as postnatal depression, feelings of isolation, relationship strain, domestic abuse, and the complexities of blended family life.
My aim is to provide a compassionate and grounded space where you can feel truly seen and supported, helping you reconnect with yourself, your relationships, and the life you want to create.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Foundation Degree in Therapeutic Counselling (FdA), an Advanced Diploma in Relational Supervision and am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy), I am guided by their code of ethics and am committed to my own personal continued professional development.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
