Supervision details
I offer a supportive and reflective space for therapists to deepen their practice and sustain their wellbeing. Supervision is not only about meeting professional requirements – it’s a collaborative process that nurtures your growth, strengthens your confidence, and helps you to work ethically and effectively with your clients.
I see supervision as a relationship built on trust, openness and mutual respect. My aim is to create a safe non-judgmental space where you can:
- Reflect on you client work and professional development
- Explore challenges and ethical dilemmas with openness and care
- Celebrate your strengths and build on your learning
- Feel supported in balancing your personal and professional wellbeing
I work from an integrative, relational approach, drawing on psychodynamic and person centred theory. This allows me to adapt to the unique needs of each supervisee or group.
I offer supervision for:
Individual counsellors – at any stage of your career, from newly qualified to experienced practitioners.
Counsellors new to private practice – I understand that moving into private work can feel daunting. Supervision can offer the guidance, reassurance and reflective space you need to grow in confidence, manage the practicalities, and establish a way of working that feels authentic and sustainable.
Fees
Individual supervision: £60 per hour (pro rata)
Group supervision: £20 per person, per hour (pro rata, based on 3 people)
A Space for You
Supervision is more than professional oversight – it’s a place to bring your successes, your challenges, and your whole self. Together, we’ll create a safe space to strengthen your ongoing growth as a practitioner.
If you’d like to explore supervision with me, I’d love to hear from you.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
