About me
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor working with individual adults.
I offer face-to-face, online and telephone sessions.
Life can be challenging and impact us differently. I draw on a range of therapeutic models when working with Clients to form a tailored approach to suit individual needs, short and long term therapy.
Therapy can enable the discovery of barriers that can be brought into awareness, to enable understanding, compassion and choices to bring about positive changes to advantage and improve well-being and quality of life.
The therapeutic relationship is essential for enabling Clients to learn about themselves in a safe, supportive space where meaningful change is possible.
You may find yourself repeating harmful patterns, experience anxiety, become depressed, or stressed. Therapy offers a safe, objective place to air your thoughts and feelings - you will be listened to and supported to discover your own answers, learn new behaviours, to feel comfortable in your own skin and taking more control of your own life.
Person Centred trained, integrative approach - my way of working will be based on individual Client needs, be discussed, agreed and regularly reviewed. All casework is supported by monthly clinical supervision with a qualified supervisor.
Appointments: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm, limited Saturday am, by arrangement. Please email to get in touch.
All enquiries via email.
Making the choice to talk through issues in a safe, non-judgemental, comfortable space with a qualified, experienced, therapist can be empowering. Therapy can help you to understand yourself and enable you to support yourself to make informed decisions that can improve your life experiences & wellbeing. It isn't about receiving advice, being told what to do, or being judged. We work together to increase your self awareness, self-acceptance, improve resilience, re-connect, make progress and help heal. Whatever the issue, working in therapeutic relationship can help you approach things at a pace to suit you.
Short and medium term therapy - typically 6-12 sessions that enables Clients to reach goals, develop strategies to cope, manage and move forward. Longer term or open therapy is where I am aim to provide the therapeutic relationship necessary to enable a Client towards personal growth.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
