About me
I am a qualified counsellor in the Eastleigh area, working with adults and young people from age 10 face to face and online. Maybe you have been experiencing anxiety or a recent bereavement? Perhaps you need some support following a traumatic event or coping with a chronic illness.
I offer counselling for anxiety, depression, adoption, bereavement, chronic illness and trauma, as well as many other areas. I can be flexible around shifts if required, and I aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
It can be a daunting decision to start counselling, and I aim to help you in this process and work in a way that is decided upon in consultation with you and that is tailored to your needs.
I have worked with families and young people in a variety of settings, and have experience of looked after and previously looked after children, and ADHD and Autism. I have several years experience of working in the public sector, safeguarding families and supporting them through difficult times. I also counsel young people with a range of difficulties and challenges for a local charity, based in school. I like to work creatively and use nature and mindfulness in my practice, which I have felt the benefit of myself.
Life can be challenging and at times some extra support may be required. Are you experiencing a difficult time at the moment or feel like you are at a crossroads in your life?
Counselling can help in many different situations and times of life. Please contact me if you would like to arrange an initial chat.
