About me
Most people come to me when they are struggling with grief following bereavement or other life changes. Grief can be incredibly painful, disorientating, and lonely, especially when those around you expect you to be “coping” but things feel very different inside. My aim is to offer a space where you can talk honestly, without pressure or expectation.
I also support adults navigating life transitions such as changes in relationships, work, or identity, when things can feel uncertain and overwhelming.
Alongside my counselling work, I spent over 15 years in a corporate environment and so I understand how workplace pressures, stress, and anxiety can impact wellbeing and confidence.
I offer counselling to adults in person in Leeds, and online or by phone across the UK.
What to Expect
I work in an integrative way which means I adapt the approach I use during the sessions depending on your need and what feels most helpful.
Sessions are a space to talk through what’s going on for you at your own pace. We focus on what feels most important to you, helping things feel more understandable and manageable over time.
Whether you are looking for a single session or longer-term support, my aim is to offer a space where you can speak freely and without pressure.

Whether you’re feeling unsure, want to know more, or ready to begin, you're welcome to get in touch.

I worked for four years as a bereavement counsellor in an adult hospice, supporting loved ones through some of the most difficult periods of their lives. I have also worked in a children’s hospice, supporting parents following the death of a child. Alongside this, I have gained experience across a range of counselling settings as part of my training and early professional development.
Prior to my counselling work, I spent over 15 years in corporate environments across the UK.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
