About me
Life can be overwhelming at times, especially when coping with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, and low self-esteem. Therapy can help by providing a space to pause, feel understood, make sense of difficult experiences, and open the way toward meaningful change.
I offer trauma-informed therapy where individuals are supported with compassion, respect, and understanding, moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
I specialise in trauma-focused therapy, helping individuals process and recover from the lasting impact of traumatic experiences.
Every session is tailored to the individual, so therapy fits your needs, pace, and personal goals.
Sessions are offered online through secure video, making therapy accessible and easy to fit around your life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an accredited CBT and EMDR therapist with extensive experience working in mental health. I have completed postgraduate training in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behavioural Couples Therapy (BCT), and EMDR.
I am also trained in supporting individuals with long-term health conditions and the psychological impact of living with ongoing physical health challenges.
I am a trained clinical supervisor in CBT and BCT. I also contribute to the training of future psychologists as a visiting lecturer on a Clinical Psychology PhD course.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
