About me

I am a qualified counsellor and therapist offering online therapy to adults across the UK.

People often come to therapy when something feels heavy, confusing, or difficult to carry alone. You might be feeling anxious, stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand, navigating a relationship ending, or questioning your sense of self. Sometimes there has been a clear event. Other times, it is simply a quiet sense that something isn’t quite right.

I offer a thoughtful and grounded space where you can speak openly without fear of judgement or pressure. We work at a pace that feels manageable for you.

My role is not to give advice or quick fixes. Instead, I support you in exploring what sits underneath your experiences; the patterns, beliefs and emotional threads that shape how you respond to yourself and others. From there, we begin to build clarity, self-trust and greater choice.

My approach is relational and reflective. I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding: noticing recurring emotional responses, recognising patterns, and gently making sense of them.

In our sessions, we will explore what has brought you to therapy and what you hope might feel different. I may ask questions that invite deeper reflection, while ensuring you feel supported throughout the process.

The first session is an opportunity for us to see whether working together feels like the right fit. You are welcome to ask questions at any stage.

I work exclusively online and welcome clients from anywhere in the UK.

Sessions are held via secure video platform.

Areas I Work With:

I have experience supporting individuals with a broad range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety and persistent worry
  • Overthinking and self-doubt
  • Relationship difficulties and breakups
  • Family dynamics and attachment challenges
  • Low self-esteem and self-criticism
  • Identity questions and life transitions
  • Stress and burnout
  • Grief and loss
  • Emotional overwhelm
  • Trauma-related experiences

If you are unsure whether your difficulty fits into a category, you are still welcome to get in touch. Many experiences overlap and do not fit neatly into labels.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have trained as a counsellor through completing a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, building on my undergraduate degree in Psychology. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding human behaviour, development and emotional processes, which I have since deepened through clinical practice.

Following my training, I have worked in emotional wellbeing settings supporting children, young people and adults across a wide spectrum of emotional and psychological experiences. This has included working with individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, trauma-related difficulties, relational challenges, identity concerns and significant life transitions. My experience has involved both short-term structured work and longer-term therapeutic support.

Through this work, I have developed confidence in holding complex emotional material, supporting individuals in distress, and working thoughtfully with patterns that may feel longstanding or difficult to shift.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and practise in accordance with their Ethical Framework. I attend regular clinical supervision and continue to engage in ongoing professional development to ensure safe, reflective and ethically grounded practice.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I work with people in many different places in their lives. Some arrive feeling overwhelmed or in crisis. Others may feel disconnected or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating. You may feel scattered and unsure of yourself, or you may be highly self-aware and simply feel stuck.

You do not need to present yourself in a particular way here. Whether you struggle to find the words, or have already thought deeply about your experiences, we begin where you are.

I am attentive to patterns. In the stories you tell about yourself, in the relationships you describe, and in the emotions that surface in the room. Bringing these gently into awareness can help you understand yourself in a deeper and more compassionate way.

I am comfortable sitting with strong emotion, including sadness, anger, shame or confusion. We do not need to rush past what feels difficult. At the same time, I believe therapy should help you make sense of your experiences, not just revisit them. My aim is to support both understanding and movement.

If this way of working resonates with you, I invite you to get in touch.
