About me

I am an Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist offering long and short-term therapy sessions. As an integrative psychotherapist I draw on a variety of approaches depending on your individual needs, such as Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Existential, Gestalt, IFS and Transpersonal.

I have a deep belief that we all have the innate ability to heal ourselves, but sometimes we need support to do so, and that’s where psychotherapy comes in. Through psychotherapy it is possible to make significant and lasting changes in your life.

Experiences in life can sometimes feel overwhelming, hard to manage and we can’t always see a way through. Often our tendency is to turn away and avoid our feelings, but if we are able to turn towards them in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space, we can start to get to know ourselves on a deeper level.  By doing so, you can begin to overcome your difficulties, and live a more authentic, happier and fulfilling life.

Prior to training as a therapist I worked for several years in the TV industry as a producer. This has given me a solid understanding of how stressful it is working in a highly competitive and demanding environment. I have also trained and worked as a yoga teacher, leading to my deep interest in working with the body and connecting to its inner wisdom and guidance.

I have experience of working with a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety and fears, stress, low self-esteem, life crises, childhood trauma, post-natal difficulties, motherhood, and personal and spiritual development to name a few. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirmative. All sessions are confidential.

Psychotherapy is a collaborative endeavor and the relationship is key. So please do get in touch to book an initial consultation where we can meet in person or online and explore some of the reasons why you are coming to therapy, your desired goals and how we can work together to support you on this journey.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Diploma in Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapy, through The Centre of Counselling and Psychotherapy Education, London.

Before establishing my private practice I worked as a counsellor at MIND Islington and at Women and Health in Camden. I then went on to work as a psychotherapist at Fresh Start Low Cost Counselling and Psychotherapy service.

I am also a qualified Yoga teacher and have taught in centres across London.
