About me

First meeting is a 30mins free session.This is an informal chat when you can ask questions and see if you feel comfortable. This is only available for individuals and does not include couples, famillies or groups. I offer a warm, friendly atmosphere. Easy free parking. Bus routes 1,7,12,14,23 within easy walking distance.

I have over 21 years experience working to help people improve their relationships and get more out of life. I am encouraging, compassionate and supportive in my approach. I aim to help you to build on your strengths and find new and more effectives ways to manage problems or difficulties. As well as working with adults I offer couple counselling, parenting support and advice, family work and work with children. I am experienced in a wide range of issues including: general anxiety, depression, relationship problems and addictions to name a few. My practice is open to all who seek a confidential, reflective and nourishing space to explore their ways of living and any distressing issues that they are struggling with in their lives.

I am a BACP accreditated member. I hold certificates for day and weekend training in CBT, attachment, neuroscience, resilience and child protection.

I have worked in a wide range of setting with people from all walks of life. I have spent years working in drug and alcohol rehabilitations and prison. I have worked in adult day centres with people with mental health issues, people with physical and cognitive disabilities and the elderly.

In the last 10 years, I have worked extensively in education covering: primary, secondary schools and universities. As well as running a private practice I have been employed by Dialogue and Dolphin House as a school and family counsellor. I have worked with hundreds of parents to help them be as effective in their role as possible.

I see children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.

I am trained in drama and movement therapy with integrative arts. More recently I received a diploma in Relational Mindfulness from the Karuna Institute.


Individuals £50 - £60 for 60 minutes self-assessment dependent on what you feel you can afford.
Couples and family groups £60-£70 for 60 minutes self-assessed on what you feel you can afford.
Children and young people £35 for 30 minutes.

Sessions are weekly, after a period of time this may go down to fortnightly. All cancellations will be charged for unless exceptional circumstances arise, in which case I will offer two options for rearranging before the full fee is payable. No fee is payable for pre-arranged holidays.
