About me
CBT Therapist for Anxiety, Low Confidence & ADHD | Compassion-Focused | Online & Face to Face London
Do you live with anxiety that follows you into every room? Does low confidence hold you back from saying what you think, taking up space, or believing you deserve good things? Or perhaps you've recently received an ADHD diagnosis or suspect you might be neurodivergent and you're finally making sense of a lifetime of feeling different, exhausted, or not quite enough.
If any of that resonates, you're in the right place.
I'm Eszter, a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT therapist) working online and in person across the UK. I specialise in helping adults struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, low confidence, and a loud inner critic, particularly those who are neurodivergent or who have received a late ADHD or autism diagnosis.
How I work
I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) alongside Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), a combination that works particularly well for people whose anxiety and low confidence are tangled up with self-criticism and shame. CBT helps you understand and shift the thought patterns keeping you stuck. CFT helps you build a kinder, steadier relationship with yourself.
For adults with ADHD or other neurodivergent profiles, I offer a genuinely flexible, neurodiversity-affirming approach. Sessions are adapted to work with how your brain works, not against it. I have extensive NHS experience working with neurodivergent clients.
What we might work on together: Anxiety & worry · Low confidence & self-esteem · ADHD & late diagnosis · Inner critic & self-criticism · Perfectionism · Shame · Burnout · People-pleasing · Depression · Masking fatigue
Working with me
Therapy with me is warm, honest, and genuinely collaborative. All sessions are can be held online or face to face, so wherever you are in the UK, you can access CBT therapy without the commute. I also offer a 12-week online group therapy programme for people working on self-compassion alongside others.
I currently have availability for new clients. To get started, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. A relaxed, no-pressure call to see if we're a good fit before you commit to anything.
If you're ready to start being a little less hard on yourself, I'd love to hear from you.
Training, qualifications & experience
My academic background includes a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology. In addition to CBT, I have undertaken further training in Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which I integrate into my work to offer a well-rounded, evidence-based approach.
I have extensive trainings and years of experience treating people with anxiety disorders, depression and PTSD and working with neurodiversity. My approach is always trauma informed. I will always consider your experiences of life which have you led you here.
I hold a passion for Compassion Focused Therapy which is about 'Having the strength and courage to turn towards distress and to do something to try to alleviate it'. Part of this involves us connecting with our body's and not just our minds.
Further training (CPD) in the past 1 year has included;
- Treating Survivors of Sexual Abuse
- Treating Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
- The use of Compassion Focused Therapy in Trauma survivors
- Developing skills for long-standing Depression
- How best to overcome Anhedonia

Further information
I offer both online and in person session suited to your needs.
I take a collaborative approach. We work together to understand what’s happening, explore patterns, and find strategies that actually fit your life.
Individual sessions usually last 50 minutes, and we work at a pace that suits you. Early sessions often focus on understanding what’s most important to you, identifying patterns that might be holding you back, and mapping out the problem together. We will then develop practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, or self-critical thinking, while also exploring the underlying causes of these patterns.
We’ll review progress together and adapt our approach if something isn’t working. This is about what helps you, not a one size-fits-all plan.
