About me
You might have a sense that something isn’t quite right - perhaps you notice yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships, feeling drawn to similar kinds of people, or responding in ways you don’t fully understand. It can feel confusing, especially when you’re trying to move forward but find yourself returning to familiar places.
Often, we can get stuck in ways of relating that happen outside of our awareness - shaped by what we’ve learned about ourselves and others over time. Therapy offers a space to gently explore these patterns, to understand what you bring into your relationships, how you respond to others, and why certain dynamics feel so hard to shift.
If you know something doesn’t feel right but can’t quite put your finger on it, therapy can help you make sense of that feeling. Together, we can begin to build a clearer understanding of your emotional world, so you feel more able to make choices that are fulfilling, meaningful, and aligned with who you are.
Training, qualifications & experience
I’m a Counselling Psychologist with over ten years’ experience across the NHS, private practice, and the charity sector, supporting young people and adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. I have extensive experience of working with people with disordered eating, trauma, low self-esteem, and interpersonal and emotional difficulties; however, I am interested in developing a shared understanding of your difficulties and help you manage these, rather than specific diagnoses.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Further information
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I pay close attention to what unfolds between us in the room. The therapeutic relationship itself becomes a space to notice and understand patterns as they happen. I aim to understand your experience deeply, reflect it back with care, and gently challenge you where it feels helpful, supporting a deeper, more immediate way of making sense of your relational world and opening up the possibility for meaningful change.
