About me

Life can be overwhelming, but you do not have to face it alone. I provide compassionate trauma-informed counselling and life coaching for adults and children in a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment. Together, we will explore the challenges you are facing, build resilience and develop practical tools to help you move forward with confidence, hope, renewed purpose and peace of mind.

Life shouldn't be hard. Yet for so many of us, it starts to feel that way - heavy, confusing, and exhausting. You might be wondering where your energy went, why you feel disconnected, or why you keep repeating old patterns that no longer serve you.

If you are feeling stuck, lost, or anything in between, you are not alone. These moments can actually be powerful turning points. Signs that your mind, body, and spirit are looking for something different.

My approach to counselling is grounded in the belief that healing doesn't have to be a struggle. Together we will explore what's holding you back, gently uncover what's true for you, and help you become truly aligned with who you are, not who you think you should be.

Through a mix of compassionate conversation, practical tools and mindful awareness, you can begin to create space for clarity, peace, purpose and Peace of Mind.

If you feel ready to connect, please get in touch for an initial chat to see if I am the right counsellor for you, as the relationship is everything. If not, I will happily connect you with someone else who may be more suitable.

I look forward to hearing from you

Emma

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
