About me

Hello, I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor who focuses on the person-centred approach. I have two bases of where I run my practice. In Gorseinon, Swansea in the lovely calming atmospheric horizon therapy centre and also the calming quiet Yoga house in Llanelli. Due to the nature of Covid-19, having had further training I am now able to also offer online and telephone counselling so this will enable you to have counselling in the comfort of your own home.

Who can I help?

I work with teenagers, young people and adults. As well as having experience of working with adults, I am also an experienced school-based counsellor who has worked with comprehensive school-aged children.

Before recently qualifying as a counsellor, I worked as a support worker within mental health and brain injury therapy. While doing this, I gained a great desire to help those who are suffering from their mental health. I then went onto study and qualify as a therapeutic counsellor.

I offer a non-judgemental service and can provide a safe, confidential place for you to talk through what is troubling you.

What happens next?

I fully understand that it can feel very overwhelming thinking about how to approach a counsellor like myself. The first step is to get in contact with me, you can call or text me on 07598 348309 or click here to send me an email. I can offer you some information and answer any questions you may have before you make a decision to book a session or not.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Wheelchair user access

Horizon Therapy Centre is above Barclays bank in Gorseinon, unfortunately the only access at the moment is via the stairs. The Yoga house in Llanelli also has some steps leading to it.

I am available Monday evening, Tuesday evening, Wednesday evening, Thursday and Friday all day.
