About me
I provide face-to-face sessions from Stories Therapy in Bromborough, but I can also do online so if you're from anywhere else in the UK then we can still work together.
I’m a person-centred therapist, which means that I believe you know yourself best and we can work together to help you figure things out.
Training, qualifications & experience
I've been in practice since 2021, and I'm able to work with adults as well as children of primary age.
I have an MSC in Psychotherapy and Counselling in contemporary approaches. I offer creative methods in my practice, which means that if you would like to draw, act out or even play a board game to help your process, then we can. I will never force you to work creatively if this is not something you are comfortable with. Person-Centred is about following your lead. I may suggest ideas where appropriate, but I can’t tell you what to do.
I also have a Postgraduate Certificate in Specialist Clinical Practice: Learning Disabilities and Autism, for Children and Young People. I am an advocate for neuro-affirmative care, and it is important to me that therapy is accessible. If you need any adaptations to support you in your sessions, we can discuss this.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

If you’re unsure about the different types of therapy, I get it, there is a lot and there is also a lot of confusing opinions on what each one means. That’s why I offer a free call (up to 60 minutes) where we can discuss the support you need, and I will try to help you understand some of the different styles of therapy, so you can find someone that suits you
