About me
I work online with adults and young people across the UK experiencing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties. Alongside this, I specialise in supporting clients living with the effects of traumatic experiences or relationships, offering a consistent and compassionate space to explore what has happened and how it continues to shape current life and relationships. Alongside my clinical client work, I am a clinical supervisior, a lecturer in counselling and CBT, and supervise undergraduate research, keeping my practice closely aligned with current research and evidence-based approaches.
You may be living with the effects of childhood trauma, sexual or domestic abuse, emotional abuse, or coercive control. These experiences can continue to affect emotional regulation, sense of safety, and the ability to trust others, often presenting as anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, or feeling easily triggered in everyday situations.
Difficulties in relationships can also emerge following these experiences. This may be in romantic or intimate relationships, but can also be present in friendships, family dynamics, or other significant connections, where patterns of distress, disconnection, or repeated relational difficulties feel hard to shift.
I have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse clients, and I understand that neurodiversity and trauma-related experiences can often interact and shape how emotional and relational difficulties are experienced.
I have over five years’ experience within charities supporting adults and young people affected by trauma, including domestic abuse, sexual violence, war-related trauma, forced displacement, and asylum-seeking experiences. I have worked with a broad range of psychological presentations within community services. I have also developed and facilitated groups focused on emotional coping skills and self-compassion.
Together, we can explore how past experiences may be influencing current responses. This can support a deeper understanding of triggers, steadier emotional regulation, and greater choice and control in how you respond in difficult moments.
My approach integrates CBT strategies for emotional regulation alongside relational and attachment-focused work. This allows us to work both with present-day difficulties and the underlying patterns that may be contributing to them.
My practice is trauma-informed and grounded in current research and clinical understanding. I work with people across a wide range of experiences and identities, and aim to offer a consistent, non-judgemental space where all aspects of your life can be explored at a pace that feels manageable.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I aim to balance structure with flexibility, drawing on coping skills where helpful while also allowing space for reflection, emotional processing, and relational understanding. Some sessions may feel more focused and practical, while others may be more exploratory, depending on what feels most useful for you during each session. This balance is informed by each individual client, and we will work collaboratively to shape the direction and focus of sessions in response to what feels most important for you.
