About me

You might be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or noticing patterns in yourself or in relationships that you would like to change or understand more clearly. Sometimes a transition, loss, or sense of uncertainty can leave life feeling stuck or difficult to navigate.

My approach is reflective and collaborative. I aim to be warm and honest in the work, offering a space where experiences or feelings that may have been hard to understand or express elsewhere can be spoken about more openly.

I’m particularly interested in working with relationship difficulties and with how people come to relate to themselves over time. Often, the ways we relate to ourselves and others are shaped by earlier experiences, relationships, or beliefs about what is acceptable to feel or need. This can show up in repeated patterns, judgments, self-criticism, or coping strategies that no longer feel helpful. Bringing awareness to what’s happening beneath the surface can lessen the pull of familiar ways of relating and create space for something different.

My work is grounded in existential psychotherapy and phenomenology. This means we focus on how you experience your life and the meaning you make of what happens to you.

From an existential perspective, anxiety, sadness, and uncertainty are not signs that something is wrong with you, but are often understandable responses to loss, change, responsibility, or the limits of control we all live with. Together, we take these experiences seriously and become curious about what they might be pointing to in your life. By listening to and reflecting on these signals, it can become possible to understand them more fully and consider how you want to respond.

Therapy offers a space to think honestly about choices, values and direction, and to consider ways of living that feel more authentic and aligned with who you are.

Alongside existential therapy, I also integrate psychodynamic and person-centred approaches, allowing the work to be flexible and responsive to each person.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and an accredited clinical member of the Universities Psychotherapy and Counselling Association (UPCA). I completed a four-year Master’s training in psychotherapy at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling, drawing on cognitive behavioural, psychoanalytic and humanistic approaches, with a particular focus on existential therapy.

I have been working with clients in practice for four years and work in accordance with UKCP ethical principles and professional standards.

Further information

I work relationally, meaning how we relate to each other is an important part of therapy. What feels easy, difficult, or meaningful between us can reflect patterns in your wider life. Together, we'll explore this with honesty and care, helping you better understand yourself and build more fulfilling relationships.
