About me

I am a qualified Integrative and Humanistic Psychotherapist. As such, I can provide a safe and non-judgemental space to support you to uncover, address and resolve emotional and psychological distress in your life. Whether you have a particular diagnosis, a difficult life circumstance or simply a sense that things are not right, through psychotherapy, we can work together towards long-term and meaningful change.

Whatever brings you to therapy, such work rests on a sense of understanding, security and safety in the working relationship and this is my first priority. As you are ready, I will guide us into a deeper exploration of your experiences, past and present; the thoughts and feelings that are causing you difficulty or distress; and how these may manifest in historic adaptations, subconscious patterns and responses.

The way through for you will be unique and I will adapt to this as we go along with creativity, compassion and reflection. I will support you in the process of uncovering and untangling which allows for increased self-awareness. In turn, this can evolve into less suffering and greater ease in both your connection with yourself and with others.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • MA Integrative and Humanistic Psychotherapy
  • HipDip Integrative and Humanistic Psychotherapy
  • UKCP registered (membership no 2011166512)

My experience and training allow me to draw on a range of approaches throughout the ebb and flow of our work together so that I can meet your unique circumstances and way of being to optimise the therapy.

Knowing if a therapist is right for you is often best achieved by having an initial session and seeing if you think there is a good connection and potential to continue. Please get in touch if you would like to know more or to book an initial session.
