About me
I offer a compassionate, safe space for adults and young people (15+) to share their story and be truly heard. I believe that healing often begins when we feel seen, understood, and not judged. I work relationally and creatively using a range of therapeutic approaches to help explore areas such as anxiety, depression, low self confidence and/or parts of you that may feel stuck or hard to reach.
I am trauma-informed, neurodivergence-affirming, and deeply committed to inclusion. I bring professional expertise, lived experience of Neurodivergence, and a genuine love for the therapeutic space to support you.
Alongside my private practice, I teach counselling theory and skills which continues to inform and enrich the support I offer in sessions.
You are welcome here, exactly as you are. Reach out, and let’s explore whether I’m the right counsellor for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
Training:
I am a Integrative Counsellor, my approach is grounded in a humanistic foundation, which means I focus on working with the person in front of me. I integrate a person-centred approach to create a safe, relational, and autonomous space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.
Alongside this, I draw on a range of approaches to support our work together. Creative practices can help us explore thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words. I also use CBT techniques to gently bring awareness to cognitive patterns and unhelpful thoughts, supporting shifts towards more balanced and compassionate ways of thinking. I also incorporate psychodynamic perspectives to explore how past experiences and attachments may continue to shape your present thoughts, feelings, and relationships.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer in person and online sessions. Each session lasts 50 minutes and is currently charged at £50.
I offer a free short introductory call where we can discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, and explore how I can best support you.
When working with Young People (13+) after the short introduction call, I arrange a initial assessment session (30 minutes/£30) with the young person and the parent/career, before beginning the work.
I want you to feel comfortable and confident in your choice of therapist.
