About me

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming – as though you're carrying more than you can comfortably hold, or trying to find your way through a landscape that has become unfamiliar. You may be feeling anxious, stuck, disconnected from yourself, struggling in relationships, questioning your confidence, or simply sensing that something isn't quite right. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to navigate it alone.

I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can slow down, take a breath, and gently untangle the thoughts and feelings that may be weighing on you. Together, we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you, helping you to understand yourself more deeply and reconnect with your own inner strengths and resources. Often, therapy is less about "fixing" ourselves and more about clearing a path back to the person we have always been beneath life's challenges.

I am a qualified Person-Centred Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist based in the United Kingdom, with over five years of professional experience supporting people through a wide range of difficulties. I have particular experience working with stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, confidence issues, depression, anger, motivation, relationship difficulties, and LGBTQ+ related concerns.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to direct or judge, but to walk alongside you with warmth, empathy, and genuine curiosity. I aim to offer a therapeutic relationship where you feel truly heard, accepted, and safe enough to explore whatever is present for you. Just as a seed contains everything it needs to grow when given the right conditions, I believe each person has an innate capacity for healing, growth, and change.

Alongside counselling, I also offer hypnotherapy where appropriate and if it feels like the right fit for you. Despite common misconceptions, hypnotherapy is not about losing control or being made to do anything against your will. Instead, it is a gentle, collaborative process that uses focused relaxation and guided therapeutic techniques to help access the deeper patterns of thought, feeling, and behaviour that may be keeping you stuck.

When integrated with counselling, hypnotherapy can work alongside our therapeutic conversations to support issues such as anxiety, confidence, stress management, habits, motivation, self-esteem, and emotional wellbeing. Counselling offers a space to understand and process your experiences, while hypnotherapy can help reinforce new ways of responding and support meaningful change from the inside out. We would always discuss this together, and you would remain in control throughout the process.

Reaching out for support can take a great deal of courage, especially when you've been carrying things on your own for some time. By being here, you've already taken an important first step. Whether you're looking for a place to be heard, hoping to understand yourself more fully, or seeking support to move towards positive change, I would be honoured to accompany you on that journey.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist, working from a warm, person-centred approach that places the individual at the heart of the therapeutic process. I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely heard, accepted, and understood, and I aim to offer a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace.

Alongside my counselling work, I am trained in clinical hypnotherapy, which I integrate thoughtfully where it feels helpful for the client. This can support deeper work around patterns of thought, behaviour, and emotional responses, always tailored to the individual’s needs and comfort. My approach is flexible and collaborative, drawing on different therapeutic tools to best support each person’s journey.

I have experience working with children and young people within school settings, including those who have been affected by bullying and related emotional difficulties. This work has given me a deep understanding of the impact of early experiences on confidence, self-esteem, and emotional wellbeing, and has strengthened my ability to offer gentle, supportive care during vulnerable times.

I also work with clients from the LGBTQ+ community, offering an affirming and inclusive space where identity, relationships, and lived experiences can be explored without judgement.

I now work in full-time private practice, supporting a wide range of clients from different backgrounds. At the heart of my work is a commitment to building trusting therapeutic relationships where clients feel safe enough to explore, heal, and move towards positive and lasting change in their lives.
