About me
Welcome. You may find yourself here because your world has been turned upside down and you’re experiencing a crisis. Or perhaps you’re still discovering who you are and feel lost or misunderstood.
You may be seeking healthier ways to cope with stress, manage overwhelming emotions, and build resilience while gently challenging unhelpful self-beliefs. It could be that you’re looking to improve communication, navigate conflict, or strengthen your relationships. Whatever has brought you here, just by being here, you’re already taking a powerful first step - the decision to give yourself the sacred gift of time and space.
I offer a calm, confidential, and non-judgemental setting where we can work together to explore the issues impacting your wellbeing and quality of life. I truly believe that somewhere within you lies the insight, strength, and wisdom to meet whatever life brings.
My role is to walk alongside you, to help make meaning of your experiences, support you through challenges, and nurture your personal growth. Together, we will work towards you living in a way that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
While I always offer warmth, safety, and acceptance, I also believe in being honest and real with my clients. At times, this means gently holding up a mirror, offering reflections that may be challenging - but always in a way that is grounded in empathy and respect. I believe meaningful change often begins with discomfort, and I’m here to support you through that process with care and compassion.
I also work with individuals who are struggling with their relationship with food and their bodies, including those navigating the unique pressures often experienced by athletes. This may include restriction, binge eating, cycles of control and loss of control, or feeling consumed by thoughts about food, weight, or appearance.
Together, we can explore what lies beneath these patterns, gently rebuild trust in your body, and work towards a more compassionate, balanced, and nourishing relationship with yourself.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call, with no expectation or pressure to continue. This is simply a space for us to meet, talk through what has brought you to counselling, and see whether we might be a good fit. You’re welcome to ask any questions and explore how we could work together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
