About me
Many of us move through life appearing to cope, while underneath we feel lost, stuck, or quietly overwhelmed. You might be finding that anxiety, depression, or low mood is making everyday life harder than it should be - or that frustration, with yourself or others, keeps building. Sometimes it's a flatness, a sense of going through the motions without really feeling present. Speaking up when something doesn't feel right, or even naming what you're feeling, can be difficult. And sometimes it's a relationship pattern, or something from the past, that keeps pulling you back in ways that are hard to make sense of. Whatever has brought you here, reaching out takes courage - and it matters.
I'm an integrative therapist working with adults, offering support with anxiety, depression, relationship and family difficulties, trauma, addiction, low mood and low self-esteem. My approach draws on both past and present - which means I'm interested not just in what is happening for you now, but in the roots of it. The early relationships and experiences that shaped how you see yourself, how you connect with others, and the patterns that have followed you since.
I work with warmth and genuine curiosity, and I won't simply sit and reflect your words back to you. I'm an active, engaged presence - asking questions, noticing things, gently exploring what might sit beneath the surface. Together we'll look at the patterns you find yourself repeating, what they might be telling us, and what becomes possible when you begin to understand them differently.
Everything we explore is held in a confidential, empathic space where you can feel safe to be honest - and where nothing you bring will be too much.
I offer both short-term and longer-term work, shaped entirely around what feels right for you. And because choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision, I offer a free 20-minute consultation - a chance to get a feel for how I work, ask anything you need to, and decide whether it feels like the right fit. There is no obligation, just an open conversation.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling and have worked with clients from all backgrounds.
I am a Registered Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), Registration number: 419732
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
