About me

Hello! I'm Elizabeth and I am a qualified Psychosynthesis Counsellor. You might be looking here for therapy for some kind of stuckness in your life, and this often happens alongside those really challenging experiences of anxiety and depression.

Perhaps these are to do with your relationships - family, friends, romantic. Maybe your health is suffering, physical or mental, or often both, and what you really want is to get back to being YOU and living a clearer, fuller, more fulfilling life.

I provide a safe, fully accepting space in which you can bring whatever you need. This is primarily a talking therapy that is led by you. Whatever comes up is welcome and useful, and I will help you navigate your problems so that you can find your path through them. We start with a free 20 minute phone or video call, with an initial session booked after.

In Psychosynthesis therapy, we don't solely look to get to the root of your issues - in fact, not even to just work beyond them - but to use them as the key to unlocking a brighter future. Reaching out for help is a courageous step, and I'd certainly love to hear from you

Please do drop an email or phone call to arrange an initial free chat.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Psychosynthesis Counsellor and am also in my penultimate year of training to become a Psychosynthesis Psychotherapist.

My experience is with adults from ages of 18. I volunteer for the children's neurodevelopmental charity bibic and am involved in the Spiritual Crisis Network.

I am a trainee member of the UKCP, and abide by their code of ethics, and am also a BACP Registered Member, adhering to their codes and practices.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
