About me
Hi, I’m Elisha, an accredited Psychotherapist with extensive experience in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Person-Centred Counselling, tailored to meet your unique needs and circumstances.
With a background that includes working within the NHS, GP surgery and charity organisations for the last 8 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, facing a wide range of mental health challenges. My time in the NHS has equipped me with valuable experience in addressing complex issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma, as well as fostering cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in my practice.
I understand that your experiences are deeply influenced by your identity, culture, and values and I’m committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen and heard. Together, we’ll explore unhelpful patterns in your thoughts and behaviours while building practical tools to support lasting change.
In our sessions:
- CBT will provide actionable strategies to address challenges and reshape negative thinking patterns.
- MBCT will help you cultivate mindfulness, grounding, and resilience to manage life’s stresses.
- Person-Centred Counselling will offer empathetic support, empowering you to connect with your authentic self and move toward your goals.
Whether you’re facing mental health challenges, navigating life transitions, or dealing with cultural and identity-related complexities, my approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based.
Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage and self-care. If you’re ready to begin this journey, I’d be honoured to support you in building a life of clarity, confidence, and balance.
I offer a free initial consultation to discuss your needs and answer any questions you may have. Look forward to hearing from you.
