About me

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure why things don’t feel quite right in your life at the moment. Perhaps you’re struggling with difficult emotions, relationship challenges, or patterns that keep repeating — or maybe you simply want to understand yourself better and create meaningful change.

I offer a warm, confidential and supportive space where we can explore what is happening for you at your own pace. Together, we can make sense of your experiences, past or present, and help you develop greater awareness, emotional resilience and self-understanding.

I work with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, identity issues and low self-esteem, and I have a particular interest in relationship concerns. Relationships shape many areas of our lives — our connections with partners, family and friends, our relationship with work and the wider world, and perhaps most importantly, the relationship we have with ourselves. Exploring these patterns can offer powerful insight and support lasting change.

I am an integrative counsellor, which means I tailor our work to your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. My practice is underpinned by a person-centred philosophy, valuing empathy, authenticity and respect, and I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to support you in the way that feels most helpful.

I offer a free initial consultation, giving us the opportunity to meet, talk about what brings you to counselling, and decide together whether we feel like the right fit to work together.

I believe that we all have an innate capacity for growth, healing and change. My aim is to support you in reconnecting with your authentic self, strengthening your sense of autonomy, and moving towards a life that feels more balanced, meaningful and fulfilling.

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm a qualified Integrative Counsellor and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), my model of care is rooted in its ethical framework. I'm flexible to work short or long-term.

Along the years I have had the opportunity to work and volunteer in different sectors with people from all walks of life which has helped me improve my communications skills, empathy and passion for listening and understanding each individual's feelings and needs so I can assist them to follow the path they want for a healthier and happier life.

I attend to continuous professional development trainings that are relevant to areas I work with as well as supervision to ensure I'm always improving my abilities and understandings as a counsellor and working safely and ethically.

I’m also a clinical supervisor and counselling tutor.

Thanks for taking the time to view my profile. If you choose to take the first step to change, I will support you with care and at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
