About me
I'm an Integrative counsellor and offer a safe and confidential space where together, we can explore the difficulties you're experiencing in a supportive and non-judgemental way. Sometimes, things attributed to a particular life event, that might have happened recently or in the past, can result in us feeling depressed, anxious, confused or isolated. Or sometimes we are not sure why we are feeling a certain way. Counselling can help you explore those feelings and events so you can better deal with them.
I have a kind and soft nature which reflects on how I work.
I have experience in working with a variety of issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, identity and have a particular interest in relationships. Relationships are at the core of all areas of our lives, patterns of relationships we might have had or have, relationships with family, friends and partners as well as our relationship to external things, like work, aspects of the wider context and mostly important: with ourselves.
I offer a free consultation so we can get to know each other and decide if we are the best match to work together.
I'm passionate about empowering clients to overcome their challenges to achieve the life they want. I offer a tailored service according to each individual needs, which means that I am flexible to use a blend of different therapy approaches, all underpinned with a Person-Centred approach.
I'm a stronger believer that we all have what it takes to live our best life. We all deserve to live a life full of joy and free of suffering. I do aim to help clients to find that path, healing and rediscovering themselves to enjoy a wholehearted life.
Training, qualifications & experience
I'm a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), my model of care is rooted in its ethical framework. I'm flexible to work short or long-term.
Along the years I have had the opportunity to work and volunteer in different sectors with people from all walks of life which has helped me improve my communications skills, empathy and passion for listening and understanding each individual's feelings and needs so I can assist them to follow the path they want for a healthier and happier life.
I attend to continuous professional development trainings that are relevant to areas I work with as well as supervision to ensure I'm always improving my abilities and understandings as a counsellor and working safely and ethically.
I’m also a clinical supervisor and counselling tutor.
Thanks for taking the time to view my profile. If you choose to take the first step to change, I will support you with care and at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
