Supervision details

I am a qualified clinical supervisor offering supervision sessions both online and face to face.

I view supervision as a vital and integral part of ethical and effective counselling practice. My aim is to provide a trustworthy, open and reflective space where you can explore your client work, professional relationships, internal processes and the wider context that may be influencing your practice.

My supervisory work is informed by Hawkins and Shohet’s Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, alongside the three core functions of supervision — normative, formative and supportive — as described by Inskipp and Proctor. This framework allows us to attend to ethical responsibility, skill development and emotional support within a balanced and collaborative supervisory relationship.

At the heart of my approach is the belief that a strong supervisory relationship fosters growth, curiosity, self-awareness and confidence. I work relationally, with the ethical framework central to all discussions, supporting you to practise safely, reflectively and sustainably.

I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, giving us the opportunity to meet and explore whether we are a good fit to work together.

Sessions are £70 per hour and can be arranged flexibly in line with your needs around frequency and availability.

Supervision for counselling students is available at a reduced rate. As a counselling tutor, I am also able to support trainees with their learning and development, including theory integration, course requirements, reflective practice, placement experiences, and anxieties around assignments — helping to enhance your training journey in a supportive and balanced way.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
