About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over ten years of experience working in NHS mental health services and with the third sector. I offer a thoughtful and reflective space in which we can explore what you’ve been carrying, make sense of your experiences, and begin to move towards meaningful change. I value authenticity, compassion, and curiosity in my work.
I specialise in individual therapy for adults facing a range of personal and emotional difficulties, including:
- Feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or emotionally exhausted
- Navigating anxiety, panic, persistent worry, obsessive-compulsive difficulties (OCD), or feeling disconnected and low in mood
- Working through self-doubt, shame, and self-criticism
- Processing bereavement, losses and navigating difficult life transitions
- Making sense of painful events and their ongoing impact on your mind and body
- Finding it challenging to regulate or manage intense emotions
- Feeling stuck in familiar distressing patterns in your relationships
My work is informed by a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Schema Therapy, Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
I offer both short-term focused therapy and longer-term exploratory therapy. We will work collaboratively to build a shared understanding of your challenges and align our work with your hopes for therapy and values.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. I have additional post-qualification training in the therapeutic models listed above.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
