About me

Perhaps you've spent so much time coping, adapting or putting other people's needs first that you've lost touch with yourself. You may find it hard to express what you need, feel overwhelmed by relationships, or simply know that something doesn't feel quite right. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of these patterns, reconnect with yourself, and begin moving towards a life that feels more like your own.

I work with adults, young people and teenagers who may recognise themselves in these experiences. You might find it hard to express what you need, feel different or more sensitive than those around you, or become easily overwhelmed. Perhaps you overthink conversations, lose yourself in relationships, shut down during conflict, or find yourself questioning who you are. You may also be wondering whether neurodivergence could help explain some of your experiences.

These experiences often develop as ways of adapting to relationships, expectations or difficult experiences. Together, we can begin to understand the patterns that have developed over time, explore where they came from, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.

My approach is warm, relational and trauma-informed. I see therapy as more than talking about problems. Alongside conversation, we may use creativity, play, movement or body awareness when words alone don't quite capture what is going on. These approaches can gently help us explore experiences that may feel difficult to express and support a deeper understanding of yourself.

Choosing a therapist can feel like a big step. A free 15-minute introductory conversation gives us the chance to meet, explore what's bringing you here, and see whether working together feels like the right fit. There's no obligation to continue, and you're welcome to ask any questions before deciding what feels right for you.

Further information

I tailor therapy to the person in front of me, recognising that no two people or experiences are the same. My work is trauma-informed, relational and draws on body awareness, creativity and conversation to help make sense of patterns, emotions and experiences. Together, we can explore what has shaped you, strengthen your understanding of yourself, and find new ways of relating to yourself and others. Over time, many people experience greater clarity, self-compassion, confidence and more fulfilling relationships.
