About me
You might be considering counselling because something doesn't feel right, even if you can't quite put your finger on why. Perhaps you're dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties or a growing sense that you're not getting what you want from life.
Many of the men I work with have spent years carrying pressure on their own. From the outside, things may look fine - work, family, responsibilities - but underneath, they feel exhausted, disconnected, frustrated or stuck. Some wonder why they don't feel happier when they've done everything they thought they were supposed to do.
Counselling gives you the space to talk openly without having to hold it all together or have the answers. It's a chance to step back from the noise, make sense of what's going on and understand yourself more clearly.
For some men a few sessions are enough to gain perspective and feel more in control again. Others choose to work together for longer, exploring deeper patterns and creating lasting change.
Whatever brings you here, you don't have to face it alone. My job isn't to tell you what to do or judge your decisions. It's to listen, help you untangle what's going on and support you in finding a way forward that feels right for you.
I offer one-to-one counselling for men in Highworth, Swindon (SN6), as well as online via Teams and WhatsApp.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
My work has recently been featured in a local newspaper and on BBC Radio Wiltshire, where I spoke about men’s mental health and the importance of accessible, supportive counselling for men. These conversations reflect my commitment to offering thoughtful, down-to-earth therapy for men who may be struggling quietly.
