About me
Hi, my name is Edward, and I believe that at times we all need connection.
Whether we are struggling to acknowledge feelings, or are completely overwhelmed by them. Whether we can identify our needs, or are not at all sure where we want to be. Whatever our situation, a connection might help us.
If you are reading this then maybe you have recognised this need, or perhaps you are unsure. Either way, as a fully qualified therapist, I aim to provide a connection and help you in any way that I can. My practice is rooted in non-judgemental and empathic person-centred ideals, while employing a holistic and integrative approach, personalised to you. I also understand that it might not always be about feelings, it could be about thinking, doing, or not doing. Whichever it may be, I will be there for you.
I have worked extensively with experiences including trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, and grief. I understand that these forms of distress can deeply impact how we feel and function in everyday life. I understand that it can be hard to know where to start, and how to take the first step towards well-being. Therefore, I welcome you to contact me for an initial chat, by telephone or email.
Through working in a residential rehab, I have a wide experience with addictions and the profound impact they can have on every aspect of life. I have also worked with a mental health charity, and recognise how difficult maintaining well-being can be.
I look to understand your unique circumstances from your perspective, and together, we can navigate your desired path. Your welfare is paramount and we will always move at your pace with whatever you are comfortable with.
My personal experience has shown me that it is possible to heal and grow, and that therapy can provide the means to achieve our goals.
If you're feeling uncertain, vulnerable, or anxious about seeking help, please know that you are not alone. Reaching out is a courageous step towards a happier future. I'm here for you every step of the way.
Thank you for your consideration and feel free to contact me at any time.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
