About me
Hello! I'm Ed (he/him). Life can be hard at any time and I’m here to work alongside you with whatever you choose to bring to our sessions.
I am a fully trained integrative counsellor with previous experience working with clients who present with mental health, addiction and trauma issues.
I continue to undertake further CPD training, some of which include student mental health, porn addiction, internal family systems, neurodiversity, trans awareness, and weight bias.
I strongly feel that making sure that we hold a safe, non-judgemental space together is vital to create a great working relationship together. However, I will always check in with you to see what your needs and preferences are. I am down to earth, always willing to listen and here to support you in your journey.
I offer both online and face to face sessions, so please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions at all or want to book in for a free 15-minute phone call consultation.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have completed my Level 2, Level 4 and Level 5 in counselling as part of a Foundation Degree in Counselling. I volunteered as a call handler at Samaritans from 2021 – 2023. I have also volunteered as a counsellor in an agency which specialises in complex issues regarding addiction and trauma from 2022 – 2024.
I continue to undertake CPD and have previously received training around student mental health, neurodiversity, internal family systems, addiction, trauma, shame, trans awareness, and weight bias.
I have been running my private practice since August 2024.
