About me
Has someone significant in your life died and you’re finding it hard to talk about it?
You may be feeling:
🌧️ Overwhelmed by the depth of your emotions
😞 Frustrated that those around you don’t seem to understand
⏳ Pressured by others who expect you to ‘move on’ or be ‘okay’
If any of this feels familiar, I want you to know you're not alone. Grief is messy, personal and doesn't follow a set path. Everything you're feeling is valid.
Why Grief Counselling?
Grief affects your entire being - your body, mind and soul - but society often doesn’t make space for it. This can leave you feeling isolated and even more alone in your pain.
Grief counselling provides:
🛋️ A compassionate, safe space to express your feelings and thoughts
⏳ The time and support you need to navigate your grief, at your own pace
💬 A chance to process your loss with someone who understands that grief is not linear
How It Helps
Grief can feel like a heavy burden, but talking about it can help lighten the load. Here’s how counselling can support you:
🧠 Clarify Your Emotions
Grief can bring many different emotions, some of which may feel confusing or even contradictory. Talking through these feelings helps you gain clarity and make sense of what you’re going through.
🤗 Feel Less Alone
Grief can isolate you, but with regular sessions, you’ll have a dedicated space where you’re truly listened to. This can help you feel understood and less isolated in your grief.
💖 Find Comfort in Being Heard
Having someone to truly listen, with empathy and no judgment, can bring immense comfort. You’ll feel supported in expressing all the thoughts and feelings you may not be able to share elsewhere.
A Bit About Me
Along with my experience as a counsellor, I’ve experienced deep personal loss - a parent, a sibling and beloved pets. I offer a combination of professional and personal understanding, which I bring to every session.
With me, you’ll find:
❤️ A warm, non-judgemental space to talk about your grief
👂 Someone who truly understands grief and the way it can affect all areas of your life
🤝 A safe, supportive environment where you can share your grief at your own pace
What You Can Expect
When you work with me, you’ll find:
✅ A space where you can express your grief freely, without judgement or pressure
🧠 A counsellor who listens deeply and supports you throughout your grief journey
🛤️ An understanding that grief is unique - there’s no ‘right’ way to grieve and no ‘timeline’ for healing
As Maya Angelou said, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you."
You don’t have to carry your grief alone.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
