About me

I’m a Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years experience, specialising in anxiety, stress, burnout, self-esteem, relationship problems, depression and parenting.

I am a firm believer that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of success in therapy, and that you need to click with your therapist.

My style in therapy is collaborative, engaging, and not very formal. My aim is to help you understand your challenges and give you tools to overcome them. I love that every person I work with is completely unique, and that no two work-days are ever the same. One of the greatest rewards of my career is to journey with people in the process of becoming unstuck.

I use an integrative approach in therapy, which means I draw from a number of different theories, depending on what is most fitting. I am the type of therapist that works with what you are stuck on in the here-and-now, and will revisit your past to consider how it is impacting you and perpetuating your stickiness in the present moment. I draw on systemic therapy, narrative therapy, interpersonal therapy, solution focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

I offer a free 20 minute consultation via Zoom to determine whether I am the right fit for you.

I have recently launched a YouTube channel as my passion project, with the objective of giving a wider range of people access to free resources to support their mental health. You can check it out below.

Outside of therapy I am a mum of three, running enthusiast, lover of music, and a people person at heart. Enjoy having a look around, and please feel free to contact me should you have any questions.

Health and Care Professions Council

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
