About me
I am a compassionate trauma informed psychotherapist and counsellor. My background in Clinical Psychology, Transpersonal Psychotherapy, and Body-Somatic Analytic Psychotherapy helps me tailor therapy to your needs.
Clients describe me as 'attuned', 'wise', and able to help them 'see things from a different perspective', promoting insight and change by raising their own awareness and attunement to their needs. My other areas of expertise include working with trauma, childhood adversities, depression, anxiety, complex trauma, illness, relationship and family issues. I am highly specialised in those areas.
After many years of working in charitable and statutory sectors with trauma and grief and supporting clients facing cancer diagnosis, terminal illness, and those navigating anticipated and complicated journeys through loss and grief, I have created a safe, calm, and understanding space for you to explore your emotions. Here, you can receive personalised support and begin your healing journey at your own pace.
If you are struggling with the pain of loss of any kind, my Grief Clinic is here to support you. I am a well-experienced grief counsellor with unique experience and ability to support you through the most difficult time in your life, offering professional grief counselling, bereavement support, or guidance after a life-changing event.
Additionally, I am qualified to provide therapy using EMDR, Brainspotting, and other interventions to assist with recovery from complex trauma and PTSD. When appropriate, I incorporate CBT techniques, mindfulness, and body psychotherapy into my practice.
I am also a well-experienced clinical supervisor.
Grief Clinic-for those who would like to talk in confidence and receive free guidance and support, I first offer a free 30-minute support session in my virtual Grief Clinic (subject to availability; more details on my website).

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
