About me

Perhaps you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck, struggling in your relationships, or noticing patterns that you would like to understand and change. You may be going through a difficult period or life transition: maybe things look fine on the outside, but inside you feel disconnected from yourself or uncertain about what you really want.

You don't need to be in crisis to come to therapy. You may want to understand yourself better, feel more confident in your choices, improve your relationships, or explore what would make life feel more meaningful and fulfilling.

I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is bringing you to therapy. Together we can explore what is happening in your life now, while also becoming curious about experiences and patterns that may be influencing how you feel, relate to others, and respond when life becomes difficult.

My approach is collaborative and shaped by you. My core training is in Psychosynthesis, an integrative approach which recognises that we are more than our difficulties. I also draw on attachment theory, trauma-informed practice, CBT and psychoeducation.

My style combines warmth and acceptance with curiosity and gentle challenge. Where helpful, I may also introduce mindfulness, grounding, imagery or creative approaches, but there is never an expectation that you work in a particular way.

I believe that understanding ourselves with compassion creates the freedom to make different choices, build healthier relationships and live a more meaningful life.

I offer face-to-face counselling in Crouch End, North London (N8), as well as online.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their ethical framework.

My professional training includes:

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling – Psychosynthesis Trust
  • Level 5 Certificate in Counselling Young People – Place2Be

My experience includes working therapeutically with adults and young people across private practice, education and the charity sector. I have worked with organisations including Mind, Place2Be, ChildLine and Kooth.

Alongside my core training, I continue to undertake professional development and draw on training and experience in areas including attachment, trauma-informed practice, mindfulness, CBT-informed approaches and working creatively with clients.

I have particular experience supporting people with anxiety, depression and low mood, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and self-criticism, trauma, bereavement and loss, stress and emotional overwhelm, and significant life transitions.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
