About me
I offer compassionate and non-directive person-centred therapy, empowering you to explore your true self in a safe and accepting environment. Life can be challenging, and counselling can provide the space to work through emotions, past experiences, and unhelpful patterns. I am here to support you on your journey toward self-discovery, healing, and personal growth.
Person-Centred Counselling is a non-directive form of talk therapy that focuses on the individual’s ability to find their own solutions and achieve personal growth. This approach is grounded in the belief that every person has an inherent capacity for self-awareness, self-healing and self-actualization when given the right conditions.
Unlike some therapeutic models where the counselling takes on the role of an expert or guide, in person-centred counselling, the client is seen as the expert in their own life. The counsellor’s role is to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where the client can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences freely.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered person-centred counsellor with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling from The Norwich Centre. I came to counselling after many years of personal and professional growth, rooted in the belief that each of us has an innate capacity for self-awareness, healing, and change. I bring a rich life experience to my practice, informed by decades in the business world and a lifelong journey of self-discovery and personal therapy.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
