Integrative Psychotherapist / Counsellor MBACP (Accred)

About me

I offer warm, supportive psychotherapy and counselling for adults who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with relationships, self-esteem, or life changes.

My approach is integrative, which means I tailor therapy to you rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we can explore what is happening, understand the patterns that may be holding you back, and work towards meaningful, lasting change.

I aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported at a pace that feels right for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an accredited integrative psychotherapist and counsellor with extensive experience working across both clinical and private practice settings. Alongside my private practice, I currently work with Bupa and Priory, supporting adults with a broad range of emotional, relational and psychological difficulties, including more complex and co-occurring presentations.

I have completed over 4,000 supervised clinical hours and work with clients online via secure video or telephone. My experience includes working with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, loss, life transitions, obsessive or intrusive thoughts, ADHD-related difficulties, and longstanding patterns that may affect day-to-day life and relationships.

I also have experience supporting clients where difficulties are more complex, interconnected, or have developed over a longer period of time. This may include multiple presenting concerns, significant life experiences, recurring relational patterns, or difficulties that have not responded to previous attempts at change.

My integrative approach allows me to draw on different therapeutic models depending on each client’s needs, history and goals. I aim to provide a thoughtful, collaborative and clinically informed approach, while creating a space where clients can feel understood, supported and able to explore difficult experiences safely.

I am also an approved provider for AXA Health, Aviva, Vitality, WPA and Healix allowing eligible clients to access therapy through their private medical insurance.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
