About me
Hello, I'm David, a relationship therapist, clinical sexologist and counsellor. I offer a warm, non-judgemental and collaborative space where you can explore difficulties in your relationships, sexuality and emotional wellbeing, and work towards feeling more connected, confident and fulfilled.
I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship difficulties, sexual concerns, life transitions and emotional challenges. Together, we can explore not only the difficulties you are experiencing today, but also the patterns and experiences that may be contributing to them.
Some of the themes I work with include:
• Sexual anxiety and sexual confidence
• Erectile difficulties
• Premature and delayed ejaculation
• Pain, vaginismus and anorgasmia
• Attachment and relationship patterns
• Porn use and compulsive sexual behaviours
• Shame and self-esteem
• LGBTQ+ experiences
• Living with HIV and other STIs
• Kink and alternative sexual interests
• Loneliness, dating and relationship challenges
• Anxiety, depression and trauma
• Family and interpersonal difficulties
I also work with couples experiencing:
• Communication difficulties
• Infidelity, betrayal and rebuilding trust
• Intimacy and connection difficulties
• Mismatched desire and sexual challenges
• Consensual non-monogamy and alternative relationship structures
Whether you are facing a specific difficulty or feeling stuck in recurring patterns, therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships and create meaningful change. I offer both online and in-person sessions from my welcoming space in Clapham North.
Training, qualifications & experience
I work in private practice, supporting individuals and couples with a range of relationship and psychosexual concerns. I am a registered member of the College of Sex and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), the UK’s leading professional body for therapists in this field.
Alongside my clinical work, I am currently completing a Master’s in Psychosexual and Relationship Psychotherapy and contributing to ongoing research in this area. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Sexology and Relationship Therapy, as well as a Certificate in Counselling Skills and Practice from the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS).
Alongside my therapy practice, I continue to co-run education and training businesses. This gives me a strong understanding of the pressures, demands, and complexities that can come with work, leadership, and responsibility and how these can impact relationships, intimacy, and overall wellbeing.
