About me
I am an experienced psychotherapist working online with clients in the UK & abroad.
I have supported 100s of clients with a wide range of personal issues around depression, anxiety, bereavement, trauma, abuse, racial trauma, spiritual awakening, loneliness, stresses within the workplace, low self-esteem, relationship breakdowns, and sexual identity issues.
I work in a holistic and transpersonal way with clients 18+ from a diverse mix of social backgrounds. My practice is culturally sensitive and welcome to all regardless of race, gender, sexuality, or identity.
When your feelings feel like chaos, I help you make sense of what's going on inside. We'll uncover what's keeping you stuck and find practical ways to move forward.
My priority is to help you speak freely, where you feel listened to and accepted without judgement or criticism. We will explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and situation.
I also help high-achieving professionals whose work stress is damaging their relationship at home, so they can rebuild trust and closeness
Therapy is a collaborative process with you at the centre of every 50-minute weekly session. We will aim to keep the sessions at the same time every week with room for some flexibility.
All sessions are in confidence and follow the Ethical Framework laid down by the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Fully Qualified Integrative Psychotherapist.
I have worked in a range of Organisations supporting people in mental health settings for over 20 years, with high case loads sometimes up to 25-30.
Now, as a Psychotherapist in private practice, I combine my professional experience of mental health with my lived experience of holding 3 marginalised identities to create a very culturally sensitive and inclusive practice.
My Practice is based online, so please ensure you connect from a safe a private location.
I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can freely explore and express how you are feeling. Therapy is an investment into yourself. I work with individuals on a short or long-term basis.
I help clients gain deeper understanding and meaning to their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Working together, we can address any difficulties you are experiencing, find ways to move forward, and implement positive life changes.
I work within an Integrative framework. This means I incorporate different psychological approaches according to what best suits you and your needs.
My Transpersonal approach means we will explore many aspects of your subconscious through Guided meditations
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
