Immediate Openings — Therapy That Actually Gets You
Are you exhausted from feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to shift? Maybe you’ve tried to push through, hoping things would ease on their own—but the weight is still there. If you’re reading this, something in you knows it’s time for change.
And You’re Right.
You deserve support that’s responsive, compassionate, and genuinely effective.
Not a three-month wait. Not generic, one-size-fits-all therapy.
Real help. Real understanding. Right when you need it.
At Beacon, I offer immediate availability for new clients—both online and in person—so you can start feeling supported now, not someday.
Why People Choose This Service Over Others
What sets my practice apart is more than credentials (though I’m an HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist and fully chartered member of the British Psychological Society).
I know—professionally and personally—what it’s like to struggle and to be placed on seemingly endless waiting lists. I’ve lived through my own difficult chapters, and I understand the emotional terrain of anxiety, depression, shame, and overwhelm not just through theory, but through experience. That depth of insight allows me to connect with clients in a way that feels grounded, authentic, and human.
Many people tell me they’ve never felt so understood in therapy before.
Your First Session: A Turning Point
Your journey begins with a 60-minute assessment—a space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment.
You can tell your story. Name the things you’ve been carrying. Say what you want to change, even if you’re not totally sure how.
Together, we’ll identify:
What’s not working, what needs healing and the therapeutic approach that fits you best.
The goal is simple and powerful:
a clear, personalised plan that moves you toward feeling better—steadily and realistically.
How Therapy With Me Feels
Starting therapy can feel intimidating. I get it.
That’s why I work hard to create a warm, safe, steady atmosphere where you can actually breathe again.
Clients Often Describe Sessions as:
Relieving (“I’ve never said that out loud before.”)
Clarifying (“I finally understand what’s going on.”)
Empowering (“I feel like I’m getting myself back.”)I draw from evidence-based therapies, but I never treat you like a set of symptoms.
You are a whole person. And your pace, your comfort, and your goals shape everything we do.
The Impact of Therapy
Change rarely happens in one big leap. It happens through small, steady shifts—new understanding, new tools, new confidence. With the right support, those shifts build into something genuinely transformative.
You Can Expect:
Clearer direction
A calmer mind
Less overwhelm
Healthier boundaries
More emotional stability.
A sense of being you again!
No drama. No pressure. Just meaningful change, supported by someone who truly gets it.
What Others Say
I encourage you to look at the Google reviews or visit my website to hear directly from people who’ve worked with me. Many describe therapy as life-changing, grounding, and deeply validating.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
