Hello, you are welcome to take your time to explore the information here and to get a sense of the psychotherapy I offer. If you have any queries you can contact me by phone or email. Before making an appointment for an initial session I offer a ten minute phone call.
About Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy
Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy supports clients in working with embodied sensations, bringing awareness to the body's subtle reactions and feeling tones, in the moment. This exploration of self is done in relationship with the therapist, and I provide a supportive and confidential holding environment for the client to be deeply heard and seen.
I believe that through becoming more intimately aware of ourselves, through the therapeutic relationship, we can become more familiar with our previously unrecognised process and behavioural patterning. This relational psychotherapy can create a change in how we experience ourselves, and our increase in awareness can potentially ease self critical thoughts, feelings and judgements.
Embracing the unknown through embodied exploration, and connecting with our vulnerability, can gradually reveal personal insights and truth. This can be a pathway to feeling a greater sense of connection through increasing awareness into our own experience of being human.
I am deeply committed to ongoing personal exploration on the path towards embodied well being.
Please call or email me if you would like to make an appointment or discuss coming in for an initial session. I answer all my calls and emails personally, and I aim to respond within 24 hours between Monday-Friday.
