About me
Welcome
I am an experienced relational psychotherapist offering embodied mindfulness based psychotherapy which I incorporate with the wisdom of the IFS (internal family systems) approach. I am UKCP and ACPP accredited.
Approach
Danielle has been trained in bringing curiosity and compassion to supporting client's with their healing from relational wounding in families, grief, and with relationship difficulties including infidelity, separation and divorce, and with recovery from anxiety, trauma and betrayal.
She supports clients to discover their ability to process and heal difficult emotions, painful feelings and traumatic experiences. Client's are supported in resourcing and staying present to what arises so that they are not re-traumatised.
Danielle supports clients in working with embodied sensations, bringing awareness to the body’s subtle reactions and feeling tones, in the moment. This exploration of self is done in relationship and Danielle provides a safe and confidential holding environment for the client to be deeply heard and seen.
She believes that through becoming more intimately aware of all the parts of ourselves and welcoming them from a place of acceptance we can find a greater ease in ourselves. This process can also ease self-critical thoughts, feelings and judgements. As we learn to meet ourselves with gentleness and compassion change can occur, allowing a greater sense of connection in ourselves, our relationships and our experinces of being human.
She is accredited with UKCP and ACPP and is supported by a UKCP registered supervisor as well as with IFS group supervision. Danielle works exclusively online as she currently lives in North Germany, in a few years will re-locate back to her home in the West Country.
About Danielle
Danielle is deeply committed to working with her own parts and is wholeheartedly engaged with ongoing learning in the path towards embodied well being. She is supported in her practice through meditation and spending time in nature.
Osteopathy was Danielle's initial profession where she specialised with working with mothers and babies working with biodynamic cranial osteopathy.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
