About me

I am a dedicated therapist with experience in both online and face-to-face counselling. My focus lies in offering personalised support and helping individuals navigate through challenges such as anxiety and depression.

I create a warm, non-judgmental, and empathetic space where my clients can freely explore their emotions and needs. Drawing from psychodynamic principles, I offer a safe environment where we can uncover the roots of your struggles and the dynamics of your relationships. Together, we'll navigate through unconscious patterns that influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, fostering greater self-understanding and acceptance.

As a member of the professional body BACP, I uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring that my practice is inclusive, affirmative, and respectful of all identities. My practice is LGBTQIA+ inclusive and I am committed to continuing my professional development by continually undertaking courses in diversity, equity and inclusion.

Embarking on a therapeutic journey can be challenging. I believe that to understand people and their challenges, it is important to understand the systems and relationships they are a part of. As your therapist, I'm here to support you every step of the way, fostering an environment of respect, agency, and mutual understanding. Together, we'll work towards greater self-awareness, acceptance, and ultimately, positive change.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified with a MSc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling from Birkbeck University.

Alongside my private practice, I bring experience from working with a London-based suicide prevention charity, and I continue to volunteer at a low-cost counselling service in London to support affordable access to therapy.

I have also regular supervision sessions to ensure I uphold the highest ethical standards in my practice.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information

I see clients in person in Peckham, where I offer a welcoming, professional, and calm environment.

My fee for online sessions is £75, and my fee for in-person sessions is £75 - £120.

This sliding scale allows those who have the opportunity to pay more to do so, enabling me to offer lower-cost spaces to those who may otherwise find therapy unaffordable.

Low Cost Sessions:

I provide a limited number of low-cost spaces for clients who are unemployed or on low incomes.

These spaces are dependent on availability, and if none are open, I can place you on a waiting list. The fee for low-cost sessions is offered on a sliding scale, which we can discuss during the initial assessment.
