About me

I am accepting new clients in person and online from September 2025. I usually see clients on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and offer sessions on a short-term or on a longer-term basis depending on what will be of most benefit to the client. I have been in your position before so I know starting therapy or starting with a new therapist can be quite daunting and anxiety-provoking so that's why I am offering a free 15 minute consultation where you can ask any questions you may have about the way I work or about therapy in general.

I imagine you are seeking therapy at this stage in your life as you may be feeling lost, confused, anxious, and uncertain about the next steps to take. Within a safe and supportive environment I will facilitate the working through of this confusion and emotional pain, helping you to understand what is blocking and preventing you moving forward in your life.

Training, qualifications & experience

As an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Creative Counsellor I use different approaches to best meet the particular needs of my client. I draw upon frameworks and concepts from Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis. Each client I see guides my interventions and ways of thinking depending on what issues may arise.

I have trained for 3 years with the Institute for Arts in Therapy & Education. I have an Advanced Diploma in the Therapeutic & Educational Application of the Arts, I also have a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Southampton & the University of Amsterdam.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
