About us
Hello I’m Leah, a warm and down-to-earth counsellor with experience supporting people with a wide range of difficulties, with particular experience around traumatic or difficult life experiences, neurodivergence and more complex or longstanding emotional and relationship difficulties. I'm particularly passionate about men's mental health.
I also work with anxiety, ADHD, low self-confidence, overwhelm, loss, identity, emotional regulation and the impact of experiences from earlier in life.
Sometimes, what we’re struggling with in the present can be connected to patterns we learned much earlier in life, ways of thinking, coping or relating to others that may once have helped us, but no longer serve us in the same way. Part of our work together can be gently making sense of those patterns, understanding where they came from and what you want to do differently.
I offer online sessions and face-to-face sessions in Hursley, near Winchester, and Basingstoke, working with individuals and couples.

Member organisations *
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
As part of my commitment to ongoing professional development, I am currently enrolled on a UKCP-accredited psychotherapy programme.
Alongside my private practice, I volunteer as a counsellor for a charitable organisation and also work within another counselling service. I also mentor counselling students during their training, supporting them as they develop their confidence and professional identity. These roles allow me to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences while continuing to develop my own practice.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within its Ethical Framework.
