About me
Hello and welcome to my page.
Do you feel like you have more questions than answers? Are you looking for someone you can talk to openly, without fear of judgement, who will truly listen and take you seriously?
Life can be challenging. Whether you're facing anxiety, loss, relationship difficulties, trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, it's easy to feel alone. You don't have to navigate these challenges by yourself. Counselling provides a safe, confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, gain clarity, and move towards a more fulfilling life.
Supporting people through difficult times is at the heart of who I am. I understand how valuable it is to have someone who listens with compassion and acceptance. Having experienced life's challenges myself, I recognise the importance of feeling heard, understood, and supported. I believe that even during our most difficult moments, positive change and personal growth are possible.
As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, I offer a warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the foundation of meaningful therapy. Together, we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, creating a safe environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with confidence.
Whether you are new to counselling or have experienced therapy before, I aim to provide a supportive and collaborative space where you feel respected, valued, and empowered. Drawing on mindfulness, coaching techniques, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches where appropriate, I tailor each session to your individual needs and goals.
Our work together may involve exploring past experiences, understanding patterns that no longer serve you, focusing on the present, and building the confidence and resilience to create positive change for the future.
Experience:
I have been in private practice for over eight years, supporting adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
My training and experience have enabled me to work with clients experiencing:
- Anxiety and depression
- Trauma and abuse
- Bereavement and loss
- Relationship difficulties
- Addiction
- Anger management
- Self-harm
- Stress and burnout
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Identity and personal development
Alongside my private practice, I previously worked with the charity MiND, where I gained valuable experience supporting individuals through the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service. This role strengthened my understanding of short-term therapeutic work and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), helping clients work towards meaningful and achievable goals.
Whatever has brought you here, you will be welcomed with compassion, respect, and understanding. Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but you don't have to face life's challenges alone. I would be honoured to support you on your journey towards greater wellbeing, self-understanding, and lasting positive change.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
