DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES WE ARE ALL EXPERIENCING TOGETHER DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, I AM STILL AVAILABLE TO WORK WITH AND SUPPORT CLIENTS VIA ONLINE, OR TELEPHONE CALLS.
Do you feel that you have more questions than answers? Do you ever feel the need that you want to reach out and speak to someone without the fear of being judged and not taken serious?
At times, life can be tough. It can present us all with different challenges along the way, which can cause difficult periods. This can lead to feeling alone and isolated. Counselling means that you do not have to struggle alone. It can allow you to gain insight and understanding. Furthermore, sharing can give you a sense of relief.
Taking the initial step can feel like an enormous challenge, but every journey, whether long or short has to start from somewhere.
It is the core of who I am as a person, and I like to be there for others when they are faced with a challenge. I believe that there is always an outcome after a struggle, and it does not have to be a negative one.
I offer a warm, empathetic, respectful, and trustworthy approach. My background in Humanistic Integrative prioritises, and focuses on the client-therapist relationship, which is central to a successful therapeutic bond. Within your own pace, we can gradually begin to uncover & explore your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
I have previous experience working for the charity MiND, where my primary role was to offer support to individuals with a wide variety of issues which included addiction, bereavement, anxiety, depression, loss, stress & more.
Working for the charity also provided me with the opportunity to become familiar with The Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) service & give support to people who were seeking short-term work in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Please feel free to contact me to arrange an initial session. Here, we will be able to talk about what you would like to explore in counselling, and whether you feel we could work together.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
