About me
I'm a counsellor and former City lawyer who works with high achievers - often lawyers, consultants and other professionals - who look like they're coping on the outside but on the inside feel anxious, exhausted or disconnected from who they really are.
I specialise in working with people:
- who have achieved a lot but never feel like they are enough;
- whose unrelenting standards and harsh inner critic are pushing them towards burnout;
- have become so busy that they've forgotten how to slow down, feel content and make decisions that align with their values.
Many of the people I work with have spent years achieving and pushing themselves through stressful experiences and environments. At some point, this way of coping may stop working and you start to feel anxious or burnt out, you no longer recognise yourself or you notice that your health or relationships are suffering.
How I help:
My work is relational, thoughtful and grounded. Clients often come to me because they want more than coping strategies - they want a space to think, feel and reconnect with themselves in a deeper way.
Through our work together, clients often begin to:
- feel seen, heard and understood
- feel better and more regulated in their day-to-day lives
- understand their patterns including those relating to burnout, anxiety or perfectionism
- develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves
- feel clearer and more confident about their needs, boundaries and direction
- reconnect with a sense of meaning, agency and choice
I pay close attention to both emotional experience and the state of your nervous system throughout sessions which over time will support you to feel safer, steadier and more present in sessions as well as in your daily life.
What you might be struggling with:
I regularly work with adults experiencing:
- chronic stress & burnout
- anxiety & overwhelm
- low mood & depression
- perfectionism & a harsh inner critic
- loss of motivation, meaning or feeling 'flat'
- people-pleasing & difficulty with boundaries
- feeling disconnected from yourself & others
- identity questions or life transitions
- disillusionment, heartache & heartbreak
What it's like to work with me:
Clients often describe me as warm, attuned and thoughtful while also being gently challenging when needed. I won’t rush you and I won’t push solutions that don’t fit. Instead, we will work at a pace that feels safe and purposeful allowing insight and change to develop naturally over time.
Counselling is a collaborative process - one where you are supported to make sense of your experience and move forward in a way that feels sustainable and true to you.

About Psychosynthesis and my approach
Psychosynthesis is my core training and underpins all of my therapeutic work. It draws upon psychodynamic, existential and transpersonal thought and acknowledges our individual uniqueness as well as our connection to the whole.
I bring a great deal of knowledge, training and experience to the therapeutic endeavour and adapt my approach and skillset to support each of my clients in their unique process.
I am also a qualified and experienced lawyer and yoga teacher and bring my understanding and experience from these roles into my work, where necessary. This may include mindfulness of the breath and body, meditation and guided imagery and tools for nervous system regulation. As a former lawyer, I have experience of working in highly demanding corporate environments and bring this lived experience to support those experiencing work-related issues, perfectionism, chronic stress and burnout.
About psychedelic integration work
As a trained psychedelic-assisted therapist, I offer a safe space to integrate experiences that you may have had during or related to an altered state of consciousness. This may relate to a psychedelic experience or other transpersonal experiences such as through meditation or breathwork.
Please note I do not facilitate psychedelic-assisted therapy in the UK; my work in this respect is in relation to integration of altered state experiences only.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
